Lynda Chilstrom draws on 22 years of experience to expertly manage successful public relations and public affairs efforts for Goff & Howard's clients.

Lynda monitors legislative proceedings and provides clients with up-to-the-minute information. As a registered lobbyist, she skillfully drafts legislation, prepares testimony and fact sheets for legislative hearings on behalf of clients, coordinates coalition efforts, and communicates our clients' positions with key decisions makers. Lynda also coordinates the writing, editing, design, and printing of large-scale projects for Goff & Howard clients.

While at Goff & Howard, Lynda has coordinated successful multi-state lobbying efforts across the country and has managed major research and publication projects for a variety of clients.

In 2009, Lynda coordinated an 11-state public affairs effort for Polaris Industries. Under her management, 10 out of 11 states passed legislation updating the state's ATV definition so Polaris' newest, most innovative products can be registered and used on public land and state trails in these states. Following the success of that effort, she continues to coordinate law updates for Polaris.

Lynda has also provided key legislative support and helped develop key messages for other clients, including Fibrowatt, Medco, Wirtz Beverage of Minnesota, and Hamline, Concordia and Saint Thomas Universities.

For the past 14 years, Lynda has skillfully coordinated research, writing, design, and printing of the Saint Paul Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) annual market report. She has also generated grassroots community support for Walmart store expansion in Minnesota and coordinated community outreach efforts for the light rail project along the central corridor between Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Event planning is also one of Lynda's fortes. She organized the ground breaking ceremony and two-day grand opening event for Fibrowatt's first poultry litter-fueled power plant in the United States.

Lynda has an associate's degree from the Minneapolis Business College and spends her free time reading, scrapbooking, and completing home improvement projects. She also enjoys attending her three kids' activities and sports and is an active member of the North Branch Area Hockey Association.
